Come on Barca!!

After the disastrous Arsenal v Bayern game, I want Barca to beat Chelsea more than ever.

It's quite ironic/weird. A year ago, I supported 3 clubs - Barcelona, Arsenal and Chelsea. Barcelona.. well let's just say I love their colours and their attacking game since before Ronaldinho joined.

I was actually "introduced" to Arsenal by a friend who recommended me a couple of Gunners when I wanted to build a team for my Fifa 98 (PC). The thing that hooked me is the Arsenal's oh so awesome attacking play. When they are on gear 5, everyone gets pwned. Tak dah chance. But that's the thing, they must be on form.

Its quite sad to watch the game yesterday. You could see how much Sol Campbell is worth to the team. Yeah, without Henry they are quite toothless but they still have Bergkamp, Reyes, Pires, Ljungberg plus the upcoming youths like Van Persie and Frabegas. They can still score. However, kick out Sol Campbell, the dam will just collapse. Cygan is not a reliable back-up; Sell HIM!!! Campbell does stabilise the defence. What's the point of scoring 3 or 4 goals if your back four concedes more? You'll still lose.

Yeah, Lehmann and Almunia aren't so good neither but Wenger should either buy cover for the defenders or nurture them. While he's at it, buy air tickets for the 2 keepers to go home - no return trip.

What drew me to Chelsea previously was only one person - Gianfranco Zola. This guy just doesn't get the accolades he deserves. Then Abramovic comes into the picture. I pity Ranieri. He was under a lot of pressure yet he did quite well in the 1st year of the "Abramovic Revolution". Despite that, he still got the boot. Sadly, that booted out any more interest in Chelsea for me. Yeah, they may win some trophies for the 1st time in a long while but the way they treated Ranieri... ruthless. Mourinho is a good manager, probably gonna be around for a long time but he is achieving a lot with the team he inherited. Lampard, Terry, Makelele, Duff, Gudjohnsen were all around before he came; they still form the core of the 1st 11 (maybe a bit off, but like I said, I have not followed Chelsea since.. yeah..).

Actuaaaaaaally I'm just ranting to waste time while waiting for the Barca v Chelsea game to start. Didn't or couldn't play PSone as my dad is sleeping outside so after catching a few minute sleep, here I am (after watching a bit of TV though.)

The game is starting... I'd say 2 - 0 to Barca ^_^
