Fire in the hole!

Okay so today's CCA day wasn't great. In fact I was already bored by noon. Habitually when I reach the limits of my boredom... I become a great nuisance. Yup. Seriously. I become erm, wild, uncontrollable, insane, nonsensical.. etc.. Almost as if my mind and body are trying to exorcise boredom out. It can be quite shocking and sudden for friends especially when I've been quite and erm.. mundane only seconds ago.

So I had lots of energy yet. I didn't wanna go home immediately so I dropped at Bedok.. and visited old Buddy CyberMatrix.

Played around 1 hour of Maple SEA just trying to see if I could remember how to play it (hahhaha) and then I was disconnected from the server so what did I do? I played COUNTER-STRIKE CONDITION ZERO!

I miss CS. Seriously. My Sec 2 life mostly comprised of me being bored with school, reluctantly and grudgingly going to Silat and NCC, spending hours (and money >.<) gaming, making excuses why I was coming home late due to gaming and talking about games. Heh, I still remember the few times me and a couple of my buddies would go to sleep, then wake up again around midnight to play D2 online together all the way til 5am then try to catch some rest before waking up minutes later to go to school. Naturally school that day would be a blur but hey, that's my Sec 2 life. So carefree then.. Aah... The kicker for me in CS is not sniping, not camping, but simple going head-on and fighting it out one on one.. or sometimes one on many. I particularly loved the Benelli M3 all because of one single occassion when I was simple on top form using that one shotgun. The praises and the exclaimations by my friends that I was overwhelming them that one single time, plus constantly giving them a shock of their CS lives each and every time I suddenly burst in front of their screens and killing them with a single round, endeared me to that much-maligned gun. I even founded a lame clan supposedly specialising in shotguns. Lol.. ........ OK back to present day. Up til today I've never really played the single mode for CS Condition Zero. Sure I've played multiplayer (once) but the missions... erm no, this is my first time. Ya, I know, pathetic right? I'm supposed to be a gamer (albeit softcore, amateur gamer but nonetheless I still list gaming as one of my hobbies and interests) yet I've never played it before. I blame my Dell PC. It was very interesting playing CS again after all these years. The adrenaline rush, the nostalgia, the familiarity.. What can I say? I thoroughly enjoyed it. Wished I can get a new com faster so I could install and play it at home. So peeps, pals, buddies, you wanna game, holler. If I'm free I don't mind going on a Frag-spree with my Beloved Benelli M3!

Benelli M3 (pump shotgun)

Alternate name: Leone 12 Gauge Super

Super 90 Combat is round-for-round the more powerful of the two shotguns. It costs $1700 and holds 8 rounds of 12
gauge shells. The M3 is a pump-action weapon that is pumped after each shot to advance the next shell (hence the nickname "pump shottie"). Being a shotgun, its accuracy is not reduced while the player is moving, jumping, swimming or climbing a ladder,
but the main strength of the M3 is its high damage: at close range it can kill with one shot. Its disadvantages include its pumping time and the need for precise timing and aiming. Some have also complained that the default M3 model's reload animation obscures what one can see in
front. The M3 has been in Counter-Strike since Beta 1.0. The shotgun is contentious as some players believe effective use of the shotgun requires a high level of skill, whereas others refute this because of the 'spray' effect of shotguns and the supposed lack of skill required to aim and get a kill and hence associate the M3 with
noobs. This has led to a few servers restricting the M3 in the same way the AWM is for quite a number of servers. However, by the same token, those that can use the M3 effectively are respected and feared. In the hands of an expert, this gun can be deadly at nearly any range, except for extremely far shots. Jumping and shooting is a great tactic to use.
