Thrilling Tuesday

Okay, straight to the point, alright..

At around noon I left home and met up with Shad, Ezza and her friend at Cineleisure to watch movie, Benchwarmers. Before that, ate lunch (brunch for me) at Es Teler 77. The movie itself was surprisingly enjoyable for me. I read some negative reviews but I found myself laughing often in the 1st 20 minutes or so, which is a good sign. Though the storyline is weak, it is a comedy and I judge a comedy by its ability to make me laugh, so yes, to me it was a good movie.

After the movie we went to lucky plaza to play pool. The last time I played pool was with Wan and Ezza and I was thrashed. This time... I came prepared. I wore my contact lens and it really boosted my performance. My aiming and concentration was better. Okay, so I didn't win one-on-one with any of them but I enjoyed myself and I think I did pretty well. Then we played tag-team boys against girls... First game Ezza accidentally tucked the black ball in but our second game... woah. awesome. I usually struggle with the black ball but today I sliced the 8-ball hard and fast and it went straight to the corner pocket. It's something I've not done til today and is definitely something memorable. Yay-ness ^_^.

After the pool game, went for dinner, ate Mr Softie before bidding farewell to my new friends.

It may seem quite... simple. Mundane. Boring even. But I missed out some details. Like having enjoyable conversations with the three of them, cracking jokes and trading witty remarks.. When Anwar and Wan went "away", I was a bit worried that my personal life, my life beyond sliat, would either deteriorate or cease to exist. I guess when you lose something, you'll gain other things.

It's been a long long time since I hanged out with Shad so that was a real bonus today. Making new friends is also super-cool.

Alright, tomorrow I have swimming session with Shad, so need to rest and relive that pool game in my dreams tonight.
