Killing birds with Stones?
Should I change my skin? Perhaps... Maybe... See how...
Anyways, I'm upset. Utterly devastated. Completely disappointed. Lemme tell you if you don't know this by now: I am a Creative fan. When I look for MP3 players, I look for Creative's. As such, I was completely in love with the Zen Stone when it came out (especially its accessories!). If I'm not mistaken, I discovered it prior to Kingone informing me, which is a first since he is my main source of information regarding Creative.
So when my good friends asked what I would like for a birthday present last year, I asked for the relatively cheap $69 1 GB Zen Stone. (Relatively cheap, when you consider the price tag for their prezzies, though I'm not complaining. After all I got what I want, so.. yeah. Happy happy.)
Then... around 2 months later, Creative "silently" unveiled the 2GB Stone Plus. Loaded with more features. That was a heartbreak. Even more "touching" was that it only cost $30 more. another 1gb and screen and timer and menu and whatever other features just for another $30?! What a bargain! What a miss (for me)!
Anyways.. I have long since resigned to this "fate". I still love my black lil Stone. So much so I've completely neglected my 6gb Zen Neeon.
Then today, I decided I wanna buy the Zen's special speakers. So I went to Marina Square with my girl, and true to my prior research, the speakers were $69 (same price as the player itself). So I thought, okay, this was what I wanted anyways so the Sales assistant, picked up the box... and then I realised that there was a Zen Stone in the box as well!
That means : $69 - 1x 1GB Zen Stone + 1x Speaker + Accessories (earphone, batts, etc)
WHAT THE F*%K!?!?!?!?!?!?! Urgh... Now I'm upset... Yet glad. Hehe... I now have 2 Zen Stones... Bitter-sweet?
