The only thing constant is change

Nearly nothing went according to plan today. Lemme share with you what was *supposed* to have happened today:

0830h Send Nicky for servicing. Based on previous experience, it'll take 2 hours or so.
0900h Breakfast then either (a) go to station and do some work or (b) linger or chill somewhere.
1200h Collect my No. 4 from station after getting bike bavk from workshop.
1400h Go 2Div hq for dialogue.
1600h Jog at bedok reservoir.

So that was loosely my plan for the day. However, when I was at the workshop the mechanic told me the bike would be ready after 2pm as there were quite a few other bikes in at that time. So I changed my plans. This changed my whole itinerary as it affects my commute to 2Div and so on. I still had to consider how to collect the bike back.

I decided not to linger at Ubi so I took 87 back to Bedok just cos I had time to spare. Had prata at Bedok before walking home.

Guess what. Immediately upon arriving home, the workshop called me to say the bike is ready. I was truly ambivalent. Bike is ready sooner than expected so yay but I had just arrived home. So after a short rest, off I went to get Nicky, this time on bus 854.

Came home, had a nap, received news we could wear CVs for the dialogue and got ready. Helmi messaged me, I told him about my plans to jog and he along with Hassan and Pizzo wanted to join me. Awesome, always better to do stuff with company.

When the dialogue was about to start, the last message I read was Safwanah's "Abang, did you forget something?" I had absolutely no idea what she was referring to at that time. Imagine my shock when she told me we had arranged for training this afternoon!! I had completely forgotten about it!

After apologising to the guys for cancelling the jog (the drizzling did make it a wee bit easier to cancel) off I rushed to SP for training. Could really feel the difference using fully synthetic engine oil with Nicky..

So for the rest of my day I spent at SP training the Ganda Putri, both Tunggals and advised the Tanding abit. By now I was drowsy from tiredness and taking medicine for the sneezing bouts I had in the morning. Left SP around 10pm, had a McD supper and here I am now, getting ready to sleep.

All in all, an interesting day. "Manusia merancang, Tuhan menentukan".
