2012 isn't that long ago. I've changed.. For better or worse.. We all have..

Looking through my phone's photos, seeing how much Aqilah, Afifah and Arifah have grown, it's been wonderful. I'm glad to be part of their youth. I was never close to any of my uncles growing up so I'm glad that I'm part of their life.

Looking back at the pictures and the dates made me realise it wasn't that long ago. Maybe that's part of the problem for me. Whatever, I'll have to deal with this on my own.

I know I did all I could, and I did my best. I just didn't "win". It's ok. It's Allah's decree so I'll have to learn my lessons, count my blessings and prepare myself.

Looks like I'm gonna squeeze one more trip out of 2014. Going for SIJORI on Sunday. First international officiating and first SIJORI since 2004, exactly 10 years since Karimun. Wow. That was so long ago. Oh well, just do my best, keep my eyes, ears and mind open and learn.

Past few days have been productive. Completed TSS blog/website. Just completed the GBTB video. Wanna do up 2014 montage soon.

2014 has been a good year for me in Silat, balanced out by difficulties at work and troubles of the heart. It's ok. It was a good journey. One more month before 2015. Already looking forward.
