First parade since.. What, 2010 CD Day Parade? Ni sudden inject punye. Off on Monday, skali dapat msg they need someone from Team A for the Home Team Parade mobile column. I kena arrow/volunteered, and here we are, after 3 days straight of rehearsals, after Friday Prayers, waiting for the actual parade later at 5.

Admittedly, the main thing I may bring back from this affair is how exhausting it has been. Marching and hentak kaki while wearing leggings and top boots ain't funny. The first full rehearsal was torturous; sweat went into my eyes, I couldn't even open my left eye for a period during the parade. Hopefully, the actual parade won't be as bad.

Of course, I shouldn't only be complaining. Meeting and making new friends, getting new tips from firebikers of other stations, getting away from the usual mundane routine, plus being the lead bike of the mobile column.. This has been fun!

Let's hope for the best today, and hope I won't be too tired to fetch Fanna tonight. Bismillah! 😀
