Final days at 805

Yesterday was pretty epic. The only agenda I had was to shift as many stuff as I can to Lock + Store Chai Chee, Kakak's place and Fanna's granduncle's place at Bedok North.

Started the day at 9am, helping Fanna with her family's stuff. Made two trips to Bedok North. Then we went back to 805.

With Fanna's help, managed to stuff the rest of my clothes into 3 big bags and my Nixon backpack. When my own room was pretty much done, we set off to L+S and 34.

L+S is officially fully loaded. I doubt I will be returning any time soon. My only regret is I know I could have squeezed more stuff in if I had arranged everything better. As it were, we dropped off stuff in phases so it wasn't ideal. Oh well.

Bought lunch at Khan Saab. Ate our very last meal on the dining table. After Zuhur, we went to drop off my hanged clothes at 34 (keep forgetting about them), finally gave the old comics to Bang Adnan and off to Darul Aman.

We tried for a long time to get 'rid' of my mom's old catering utensils and warming trays. From trying to sell to asking around if anyone wanted them for free, finally Cik Ju said the mosque could take them. That was one of the bigger hurdles in this moving out so was pretty glad to pass them over to the mosque.

When we got back, 2 guys from Town Council were carrying out the various furniture we wanted to dispose. So glad Ibu made that arrangement. Not that I couldn't do it myself but getting them saved us lots of time and effort.

Aaaanyways, we continued to journey back and forth, loading Fanna's family car, loading trolleys, until finally we were done before 11pm. 9am til 11pm. No joke, was pretty exhausted by then. But I was very glad Fanna was with me that day. Helping in many ways. I promised her I'll take her out for a proper date soon. After both of us have settled down with our temporary arrangements.

Had a very late dinner/supper at her place. Arrived at 34 after midnight. Finally had a bath; I stank so badly. Went to sleep, only to wake up at 6am. Afifah was up, she cuddled with me a bit before I finally got up to go to work.

It was a long rainy shift. I did not even touch the bike. Napped a bit at the start of the shift. Went for breakfast with Zaki and Chiko. Came back, played on the phone before napping once again. I was still tired frome yesterday Simply lazed around til I knocked off from work. First time I was offrun the entire shift.

I had planned to go to 805 and continue the clean up but I forgot to bring my keys so I went to Arnolds to buy lunch before returning to 34. And then I slept *again*. Hahaha.

Anyways, here I am now, at 805. Enjoying the last of the wifi here. My room is pretty barren except for my last few belongings, my rolling chair, the blanket and pillows I slept with since my bed went to 34.. And Aqilah, who wanted to come along. I wanted to do more disposing of the trash and unwanted items but the rain keeps pouring. Plus, it's already late; it's pretty much a guarantee anything disposed downstairs will be ransacked.

So I decided to take leave tomorrow. I'm gonna tidy up and arrange the stuff here a bit to prepare for tomorrow's work. Fanna said she wanna help out again tomorrow. I hope we get everything done. Ibu wants to wash the house on Sunday. We shall see.

Hope the rain subsides soon so we may go home. Home. Heh. Home is gonna be a new definition pretty soon. :-D
