Ok it's been a while  since my last post. A lot has happened since. Although I won't be sharing everything here, there is still a lot to share.

First up: the Penang>KL ride up. It was enjoyable and memorable. Furthest I've ridden yet. 700+km, 11 hours in total. It could have been shorter but we had a  nearly 2 hour break at Rawang.

From just 5 guys, by happenstance we met Encik Mus at Seremban. I'm glad he joined us. Instead of relying heavily on GPS, he led us for most of the journey from Seremban onwards. There were some teething issues but to me, he was more helpful than anything else.

This trip kinda had different levels. From highway cruising to meandering turns in Penang to urban city riding. The hardest part was riding through that super heavy downpour returning from Ayer Keroh. If it weren't for the tail lights I would not be able to see the vehicles in front of me. Even then, we rode at 100-120kmh. Craziness.

One take away from this trip was the value of foglights for riding in the dark as well as through horrible weather.

I kinda decided to retire my Shark Evoline 3 after this trip. I still love the helmet but rain seeped through and affected my visibility. Besides, I wanna try a full Face helmet with bluetooth communicators. Currently thinking of keeping to Shark so I may get a Speed R or Vision R - when I have money.

Speaking of money, I believe this December and January is the most I've ever splurged or spent. A lot of it was for the house sale/purchase. Yesterday I've rented a 48sf storage unit to store some of our belongings. Plan to start bringing some stuff over on Thursday.

Jakarta trip ain't happening this year. Oh well. The concerns over security and safety is understandable. Anyways, with so much on my plate all the way til May, perhaps it's a good thing the trip is cancelled/postponed.

Oh ya. Insect bite. Thankfully it was getting better before the ride up. During the whole trip, I just patched it up. At least my feet is not swollen anymore. My leg doesn't ache either. Just a matter of time before the wound clots up and goes away.

So much happening soon, so much to look forward to. 2016 is gonna be an interesting year.
