Since returning to rota shift and joining Rota 2, I've been running a lot. Well, that's what you can expect when your DRC is a runner.
Generally, I'm not complaining. I need to lose weight and train for IPPT so this training is to my benefit. What I dislike are the injuries.
My guess is my weight is the main cause of my injuries. More strain on my legs. When I first started, it was lower back pain. Then it subsided. Then the 'usual' calves; my calves historically give me problems.
Recently Encik started doing sprints. That led to my knees aching. I finally bought one knee support for my right knee.. Only to have my left knee hurting (probably an imbalance issue).
And now the front of my right ankle is hurting. A numbing, pulsating ache. It comes and goes. Can't really put weight on it. Stopping me from falling asleep. Urgh..
Right ankle.. Perhaps I have never fully recovered from my old injuries..
All these running and training has been exhausting. With so many things going on right now, I am looking forward to the Jakarta trip. Yes, I will still be busy but there will b time for R&R. Just wished Fanna and Safwanah and Sazali were coming along. Oh well..
Gonna try get some sleep. A long day ahead.
P.s. I have a pimple on the inside of my right eyelid. Since yesterday. Damn painful :'(
