Smacking my head hard
Ten days later since her birthday, I just found out that Effdee did not even receive my birthday card and gift. Apparently I got the wrong address. According to my records, her address was #02-59 but nope, sorry sir, that is the wrong floor. Ms Nurnadia Abdolah's home is #03-59. Yes sir, that means you screwed up really badly.
No wonder she thought I forgot her birthday. I'm a bad friend.. or is fortune a bad friend of mine?
I'm kinda upset though. I think Shad would understand. Come to think about it, I'm glad Shad did not accompany me to deliver the card; he'll "ketok" me. I guess I couldn't get things right that Friday.
Nad, I am sincerely, utterly sorry. You're a good friend and I really wanted to give you a pleasant surprise for your birthday. Well, if you still want that gift you can always check with your neighbour...
