**FALL** in!!
Let it be on record that on the 24th of April, 2007, I fell down the 3-storey sliding pole at Changi Fire station.
Don't worry, I'm still alive. No scratches, no fractures, no anything, except a bruised quadricep and ego. Well, the ego part, not really. When I landed I was so relieved to escape "unscathed" that shock and paranoia and whatever other negative emotion did not get their chance to present their cases to my brain. I think it was the adrenaline.
If you really, really want to know what happened, you'll call me. As for me, I learned my mistake (short sleeve t-shirts and Singapore-style is a volatile mixture) and no, this will not hinder me from going down the pole. In fact, if I do have the chance to slide down, I will take it.. but I'd think twice which way to go.
I'm fine. Really. =)
