Always good to have more... most of the time..
Hehe talk about not keeping to the plan. Since I bought and assembled the new computer table, which comes with a whiteboard, I've made a list of things I need/want to buy. So one of these was a HDD for me to store my personal files and for my video editings.
So off I went to Sim Lim with Imran to go find 160GB 3.5" ext HD, which would be like a direct replacement of my old beloved 'cooked' HDD. After checking out the different stores to get a rough idea of the prices, I decided to just whack and go into the next store (I never really have the patience to go through catalogues to compare and get the best deal, bla bla bla... as long as it fits my needs and budget, I'm all green.
I ended up paying $149.90 for a 500gb Ext HD, which to me is a good deal and SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO over what I had planned to get. Now I've got more than what I set out for in the first.
I still have no idea why I'm complaining.. Maybe I'm not complaining, just... 500GB?!?! Wow....
IN OTHER NEWS, after a series of deterioration residents were shocked to see the iconic Big Ben collapse completely, leaving an empty space where it once stood proud.
Witnesses said the clocktower began its descent to oblivion by first emulating Pisa's own famous tower , leaning heavily on one side, before it completely gave way.
Fortunately nearby premises escaped unscathed. No other damages have been reported by the neighbouring buildings.
Sounds... crappy? Not really. See, I *used* to have the Big Ben 3D puzzle placed at one corner of my room. Since I rearranged my room furnitures, Sweet Aqilah found the puzzle to be more accessible for her and she started dissembling the tower. Initially I wanted to keep the pieces so I can fix it up again in the future but looked at the faded pieces, I decided to just throw it away. Ah well, it's been there for years. Quite an enduring birthday present. Coincidentally, Aqilah's mom bought the puzzle for me.
Still feeling hollow, but otherwise doing okay.
