don't care how much you know

Well, this blog is not up to date with my life. Alhamdulillah, Fanna gave birth to our first child Nur Tanisha on 17 November at 9.14am.
Fatherhood is a blast and a joy for me. Of course, not everything is easy. Lots to learn, and to keep learning. Motherhood is tougher for Fanna but after a hard start she is coping and improving, learning to find the joy in bringing up our cute, beloved Tanisha.
Unfortunately, Tanisha had a high fever on 27th December and was warded at KKH at midnight. Although we were given the initial timeline of getting discharged today, Sunday 31st, should all the test results come out good, we had to extend our stay.
So despite coming out negative for blood, urinary tract and brain (meningitis) infections, doctors say Tanisha still had indications of bacterial infection; they just haven't identified the source. Her fever have not gone away either.
So here I am, tucked in a corner in the Child Emergency waiting area, biding my night away. Only one caregiver could stay with Tanisha. I managed to crash and stay at the bed for 2 nights straight, not so lucky today. So with the help of one can of Redbull, Imma enjoy the airconditioning of the CE and watch some videos off my laptop.. If I can. Still have ard 6 hours or more to go..
I hope Tanisha gets well soon.
