E.A.S.T. outing: Success!

Yesterday was quite pleasant. Did I have any initial plans to go out? Erm, not really. I can't remember who and how it started out (if I'm not mistaken, I called Ezza or something) but Ezza and I went to watch My Super Ex-Girlfriend.

We were already enjoying ourselves before the movie even kicked off. They were showing a trailer for this movie "Akeela and the Bee", about this neighbourhood black girl and her exploits in an American National Spelling Bee. Spelling Bees is typically participated by the elites so I suppose her progress sparked national interest.

At one point of the trailer, they showed a group of black brothers sitting in front of a tv. One of them said " Kick his butt Akeela. B-U-T-T!!" That cracked both of us up! I'm so gonna catch it!

The movie itself was okay. I'm not a big fan of Uma Thurman. Wait, I'm not a fan. Haha. The movie made it seem like it's soooo easy to get girls. Pfft. So artificial. However, if you just shut down your analytical skills and just soak it in, the movie was okay... I like the ending best. Go watch it then you'll know.

After the movie, met up with Shad and Ama, solat then made our way to Clementi to Shah's house. Shad was to help him with PC matters. We were suppose to meet up with Wan but something came up so the four of us made our way to Al-Azhar. The food.. not too shabby but I'm disappointed with the lamb chop. More like Lamp chopped. So small. Sigh. But surprisingly I was full. Haha.. Guess it was a blessing in disguise.

The trip back home was a proper cooling down to an active day, I suppose. Bartered philosophical observations, love trials, current events... sometimes, it's important to let some steam out so it don't eat you from within.

Was planning to continue with the website design but Wan and Ezza just contacted me saying they're at IRC. Wah... tak bilang seh! Anyways, I wanna go bathe den see if they wanna wait for me. Kalau tak I can always go back to Plan A. In any case I do have to bathe, no? Haha..
