It's up to me!
I've been reading this book "If it is to be, it's up to me!" by Thomas Smith. Very uplifting book, lots of insight on how you can be a better person and live life better, if not to the fullest. I've already got a few favourite quotes from it already:
You can't rattle my cage, cos I got no cage to rattle!
- No one can spoil my day or my peace of mind without my permission. Great line to keep myself up at work
You can't find time, you make time i.e. invest it!
- You got to book an appointment with yourself to do what's necessary and important. Especially for matters you dislike.
Only a quarter through the book. I wouldn't mind reading this book again, armed with a highlighter! For now, just read, enjoy and absorb!
