"People
don't care how much you know

The Jakarta trip this year had its own unique issues, particularly for me personally.
At first I thought it was my typical sinus. Almost immediately upon landing in Jakarta, I started sneezing relentlessly. It's probably a combination of the plane's air circulation, the Jakarta atmosphere, and lack of sleep, due to the 10pm and 5am firecalls.
After taking 4 different types of flu and sinus pills with little effects, this had to be flu. I just had to bear with and carry on with the programme to the best of my ability. I was essentially in a hazy mental state for most of the trip.
What made the trip more than bearable was the participants this year were very cooperative. Couldn't ask for me. The alumnis and seniors supported me ably, making the trip a lot easier than the previous two.
Not saying the first two were bad, but I've grasped the fundamentals of organising this trip. Finances were in order and programme ran pretty smoothly. Objectives were achieved.
Chest still feels congested. Sneezes and running nose is pretty much gone but just started coughing. Hope I will recover soon.
All in all, it was a good Jakarta trip. Alhamdulillah.
