Occupational hazards
Here's a prevailing notion in my mind since I was first posted to a Fire station. It's quite morbid but considering it was my personal exposure to accidents, tragedies, fatalities that influenced this thought, it ought to be expected.
What if I got into an accident?
How will my family be informed?
Will my insurance be sufficient for any or all expenses?
How will my girlfriend be informed?
What will happen to my bike, Facebook, etc?
Bah. Morbid but valid.
In other news, why is it that our big quarrels often occur when I'm working? Really gotta change a lot of our 'cycles'. But how I feel won't change.
New numbers are 20,000 and 5. Go figure.
